Born and raised in Hiram Clarke, Houston, Texas, Thaddeus has always been immersed in a myriad of musical influences. From a tender age, music became part of his daily routine, largely due to his grandmother’s unwavering passion for gospel music, her devotion to her prayer group and her tireless prayers for all family members.
In addition to his grandmother’s influence, Thaddeus found unparalleled inspiration in his mother’s unique storytelling skills. Her ability to evoke powerful emotions through her words, without resorting to profanity, instilled an appreciation for artistry within him. Whether it was Zydeco, R&B, or Hip-Hop, Thaddeus was constantly amidst a diverse sonic palette ranging from Keith Frank to Michael Jackson, and lastly, the timeless 2Pac.
After graduating from James Madison High School in 2017, Thaddeus attended Lamar University. Determined to share his creative voice and story with the world, he dove headfirst into honing his craft.
Balancing his passion for music with his academic life, Thaddeus worked tirelessly across three jobs to fund his own studio equipment, frequently recording straight out of his dorm room. Hiss relentless drive for success culminated into his graduation in 2022, marking the beginning of an exciting musical journey.
